+ How does Talostone stand out from the rest of the engineered stone out there, can you tell us how long it takes for you to develop a particular design and what the process is?
Colour innovation, Quality control, and Customer service are the keys to stand out from the crowd! All Talostone® colours are extensively researched before production commences. With each new style taking approximately one and a half years from concept to completion. Talostone® Research & Development Team stays abreast of international design trends to ensure all slab styles and colours are at the cutting edge of tomorrow's fashions. The R&D Team is continually working on the colours to lead the trend of what comes next.

+ When it comes to engineered marble, how do you know which is the grain best suited to your space?
This depends on so many different variables, it’s hard to give just one answer. However we believe that colour tones are the most important thing for a space. Talostone® offers the stone colour range for all purposes. From the very classic and timeless look of white marble colours to concrete look colours. Each slab has different colour tones combined together which will suit different colour tone requirement for each project. In addition, Talostone offers different surface finishes, i.e leather honed, matte, and polished which are the surface finish solutions for all types of needs from our customers. + Designers often specify your range, do most like to keep their selections simple and timeless or bold and trend based?
The design with right colour tones can both be timeless and trend based. Homeowners and designers taste is what is most important to get a house designed to last the cycle of trends. Talostone® has been offering the colour selection which suits different design purposes, while Talostone slab size enable the maximum usage of the slabs for each project. + What do you feel are some upcoming trends in surfaces for 2020?
Different finishes are on trend - Matt and leather honed are very popular. Also thin bench tops are creeping there way in to kitchens. You will notice more thin kitchen bench tops in magazines. Talostone® has released some colours in 12mm thickness, Carrara GioiaTM polished, Calacatta LuxeTM polished, and Super WhiteTM Matte, to give people the option to have a thin bench top. You can also use this thickness on your bathroom walls in replace of tiles (no grout is a bonus, which equates to no mould and less cleaning) 12mm is also perfect for using on draws fronts. Curved everything is on trend, and Talostone® is the only engineered stone company that can curve their stone.

+ Do you have any new colourways coming out in 2020?
Talostone® is really excited with the new release of two gorgeous new colours, Super WhiteTM in matte, Elba WhiteTM in leather honed. Both colours that we have released in January 2020 are stunning and are attracting a lot of attention, Premium Marble Range Super White, Marble Range Elba White. In 2020, we aim to release another two new colours. Both colours will be in 20mm and 12mm thickness. Talostone® will apply the latest technology to be backlit the stone for creative effect and the option to also curve the stone.
